Description:         Khorasan is an ancient grain, tracing its lineage all the way back to the fertile crescent.  Most commonly known as “Kamut”  which is a trademarked brand . Khorasan offers a rich, nutty, and buttery flavor with a  tender crumb. This loaf is made from freshly milled khorasan berries. Freshly milled berries offers the most nutrient-packed bread. Khorasan is very high in protein compared to other ancient grains. One slice of 100% khorasan has approximately 10 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. It is a non-hybridized, ancient grain which is easier for digestion. Khorasan boasts an excellent nutritional profile and has a delightful taste that modern wheat  can’t match.  Naturally rich in protein,  antioxidants, and essential nutrients and it’s delicious!
